Georgi – September Joy…

This past month was a really busy one, but I love Septembers as each year I have a lot to celebrate. But this year, September was more special than ever…as I was telling you in my last report, I got married!!!

I am thankful to God for all the love He is showing me through Florin and I know he is the perfect gift. I had a dream wedding in Cihei with my Smiles Family and friends and I want to thank Kevin and Maria for making it so special and amazing. Then Sunday, I celebrated with our families and friends. I am writing this report whilst on my honeymoon!

So I will be short as I asked Ligia to write a report updating you all on progress at Tileagd Assisted Living, but not before I thank you for the love you showed me by sending greeting cards and e-mails. I appreciate you all very much and I pray God will continue to bless you.

So, I will end here…but not before I share a few photos with you.

You don’t have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness, if you are paying attention, it is right in front of you in every single ordinary thing that you are experiencing, wrapped in gratitude. Tileagd Assisted Living
We have all been so blessed at TAL (Tileagd Assisted Living) this season because we have learned to rejoice over the simple and ordinary things.

Our residents are all very different as they come from different regions and backgrounds but we have discovered the beauty of sharing our stories with each other and learning new things about each other.
We have been blessed with some very nice weather in September so we were able to enjoy the beautiful gardens. And do the things that used to bring them joy.

One of the ladies that I’ve come to know well is lady Ana. She is an amazing woman who learnt to survive and stay positive after she experienced an accident at the age of 56 from which she’s been immobilized and could not walk anymore and her only son could not take care of her anymore. Even if she cannot do much now, we always see her knitting and smiling. We are so blessed to be able to take care of her in our Centre. Tileagd Assisted Living

Living together, our residents started to share together everything, the hard times and good times and in every situation we are learning to support each other and rejoice for one another. This month, 4 of our residents celebrated their birthday so we surprised them with a big birthday party. So their own families together with their new extended family joined together to all celebrate their lives.
Tileagd Assisted Living
It is great to see the difference that it makes to our residents lives the fact that they are loved and well taken care of. September was finished with a visit that was very much expected by our residents. A couple of ophthalmologist volunteers visited our centre and were able to give visual eye checks to all our residents.

We are very thankful to God because once again we have seen his provision and love for us here at Tileagd Assisted Living Centre.

Please continue to pray for our growth and development and please pray for the support needed to say ‘Yes’ to every person who needs some assistance with life for which our Centre is perfectly made.

Thank you and God bless you all.

Please pray for us because when you pray God hears more than what you say, answers more that we ask, gives more than we can imagine in His own time and in His own way.
