one of the newest member State of the European Union, ROMANIA faces many
challenges to provide quality, inspiring education that can integrate
their society and prepare a future generation to help Romania’s
recovery.
The Smiles Foundation,
a UK Charity working in Romania, is
offering the unique opportunity for you to experience Romania on an
Educational Challenge.

 The
Smiles Foundation built and equipped its first school in 2003 and
quickly
established a reputation of
 vision and excellence in providing
education to many who had never before been to school. In
September 2006, Smiles opened the new
Tileagd
Community School
for children aged 5-17 from both Romanian and Gypsy communities.
Smile’s also provides Nursery education for younger children at a
close by facility. |

 Our
challenge is inviting you to join a trip, visiting our Romanian
school, our staff and children to share ideas and support, with a view
to Partnering your school with Tileagd Community School
for cross cultural exchanges, visits, communication and fund-raising
to help support the development of the school in Romania.
