Report on the Christmas Mission Trip
December 8th – 21st

With 387 Mission Trip guests in 2007 and some
amazing testimonies to their experiences in Romania – it was 29 who
visited in December that have the joy and memories of playing Santa to
so many worthy recipients of gifts sponsored through
The Smiles
Foundation.

Nearly 200 Families received Food Packages.
-
Over 400 Children received S.O.S. (Sacks of
Smiles Gifts).
-
More than 100 Families were delighted to get
the special Christmas Food Parcels.
-
A further 100 Families received assistance
with Winter Fuel and special expenses.

|
|
|
 Thousands of Blessings were shared during Distribution of these Gifts
on Family Visits.
Thank you to all the generous sponsors across the UK and US
who gave at this special time of year to share the Love of God
expressed to us in the Birth of Christ.
A wonderful message of Love was indeed
demonstrated to so many in Romania. |

Mission Trippers even got to sledge with the
Cihei Children Centre when we got our share of Christmas Snow!

The Patients of Bratca Hospital were delighted
with our visit but not only the gifts of sacks
of food and goodies
but the TV and DVD player sponsored by one of our Mission Trippers
who visited in October.

Children and Young People from Oradea, Gepiu
and Tileagd all had opportunity to play Tennis under the
professional coaching skills of Josif Nemes and John Noakes.
