The Smiles Foundation is
delighted to announce the confirmed appointment of Ovidiu Butnaru as
resident Pastor of Tileagd Community Church from May 1st
2008. |

Pastor Ovidiu will also continue his
involvement with other aspects of Smiles work, especially with the
Family Care Project and the Gepiu Community work.
Pastor Ovidiu has been working
with The Smiles Foundation part-time since September ’07 and was often
preaching at Tileagd even during his final year of Theological College
in Oradea. |

A
graduate from Emmanuel Baptist University,
Pastor Ovidiu will begin his full-time ministry on May 1st
and his official Induction Service will be on June 8th –
part of the
Grand Opening Celebration of Tileagd Community
Church – along with more Baptisms from folk within the Gypsy Community
whom he will serve. |

Pastor Ovidiu has proved very
popular with the Community since first getting involved in 2007.
Ovidiu loves working with Young People, plays the guitar and enjoys
discipling them through bible studies and prayer.
He is also popular amongst the Families, with a caring spirit for
their needs and always time to spend listening and counselling.
The challenges of Tileagd will be quite an experience for
Ovidiu in what will be only his
second Church office, so we ask for your prayers to cover
Ovidiu and the work he will be
undertaking in Tileagd.

Pastor Ilie Cimpoca will continue to
serve within Smiles as our senior Pastoral advisor which will be a
tremendous support to Ovidiu while establishing the ministry in
Tileagd.
