What is
Smiles Princess Club all about?
 The
answer is simple! God’s love for us, His Creation and the fact that in
His eyes, we, all the girls from Tileagd (and not only) are
little PRINCESSES...
It all
started from a dream that I had based on the Cinderella story!
Visiting Disney World in Florida twice encouraged me even more. Being
there and seeing with my own eyes all the things that I was dreaming
since I was a kid, made me….cry!!
Then I did assimilate this “cartoon story” with “our real life story”.
God created us amazing creatures that in His eyes we are all
princesses (and princes)! He made us part of His “royal family”. He
promised us that one day we will be together and our heavenly home is
much nicer and more beautiful than any castle in this world, even the
Disney one, BUT all this being possible if our hearts, our lives are
surrendered to HIM!!!
 This
story is what I like to share with the girls in Tileagd. I might never
have the opportunity to take them all to Disney World, but God put me
in this place to tell them about a better Castle where their “dreams
come true”!!! All this can happen if they accept God in their lives!!
I don t want them to be princesses for “one day” at Disney, but for
eternity…in God’s presence!!
So, in October, we had the initial
meeting, where we discussed the idea of the Club! I was surprised
that at the next meeting, 20 of them aged between 10-14 years arrived
ready to be a part of the Princess Club!! We have now already had 5
meetings, where we shared stories from the Bible about woman that
loved God and are a good example for us, women like Ruth, Rebecca and
Rachel!!! Even after 5 meetings the number is still at 20!!! We had
all sorts of “surprises”. Of three girls who had abandoned school and
stopped attending, since they come to the club, two of them decided to
go back to school!! Five girls are sure that God is a part of their
life and want to keep Him there!! The relationship between them and
the ones in the community is changing because they “don’t want to
upset God”

I
 really
want to give back something that I have received through my life and
now I can invest my time and knowledge in the lives of these young
girls which is such a privilege for me! I have all sorts of ideas and
plans for the future of the Club, and if you would like to support us
with your prayers or financial gifts, please do so. We even encourage
you to come and spend some time with us…..I guarantee you will feel
better than going to Disney!!
