The Smiles Foundation is so thankful to all who
read our website and respond to the various appeals posted each month.
Most recent response was from Clive
and Pat Astin, helped by neighbours
and friends to collect donations of new clothing, shoes, hygiene
supplies, educational items and many other specially requested things
from our Wish List.
Clearly Wishes can come true!

got it loaded in England and at 3.30am Sunday, Clive and good friend
Clive Brooks,
started the journey to Romania.
Tuesday afternoon, April 1st, they arrived and within a few
hours, their load was emptied with help from
Newtownbreda High School
(Belfast) who are in Romania for a week on the
first of several School Experience
Field Trips with UK schools.
The Clives head back in the morning to England for what was possibly
the shortest trip ever to Romania, but how crucially important it was
to get those supplies to us.

involved.
