There is a Big fuss
in Tileagd Community School. It is June 10th 2009, a
very important day for everyone: students, teachers, parents and last
but not least, the special guests – our Mission Trippers - who
are invited. The last day of each school year is full of emotion and
therefore each time it is prepared in detail, with great care. We
invited lots of people and want everything to be perfect.
We’re sure you wanted to be with us, so as not to miss those "unique"
moments which can never be directed, but probably the work that you
have, kept you away. No worries, for sure you will be part of other
occasions, we hope as beautiful and special as this.
This time I will try to guide you to see everything through the "eyes
of the mind" ... Please close your eyes and imagine all the 161
students of Tileagd Community School & Nursery, beautifully dressed
for a day of celebration for the school year and awards ceremony.
Teachers and students were prepared for this event weeks ago, taking
on a lot of work with great devotion. All those who came were
delighted with a varied artistic programme which included plays, songs
and different dances. It was a real delight to see the "small
artists" striving to interpret the roles and the dancers, whose faces
are radiating the pleasure of dance but also the concern of not to
somehow do any wrong steps. Costumes, music, good mood, applause, all
contributed to the success of an unforgettable day.
The climax was the awards ceremony for pupils. After a year of
work, now came the moment for the conclusions and final assessments.
Most happy were those who received the First, Second and Third places.
All those who received diplomas of merit, books, sweets and many, many
congratulations. There is a habit in our school, as all children to be
encouraged by diplomas and sweets for their talents and skills.
A very special moment had been prepared and presented by the
students from grades V-VII of the gypsy community who attend the state
school in Tileagd, but also enjoy the continued material and moral
support of the Smiles Foundation. An unusual interpretation, which
proved great talent, from the girls who did a traditional Indian
dance, rewarded with lots and lots of applause from those present.
Finally, they were awarded for their school performance academic
achievements with Certificates of their Annual Grades.
Thanks to everyone who supports in one way or another The Tileagd
Community School & Nursery, making possible the education of 161
children and a successful conclusion of another school year. We
are grateful for your efforts both students and teachers, but also the
parents and friends.
Be blessed for everything you have offered with such generosity.
