As any
beginning, the new school year involves a series of organisational
issues on which depends the efficiency of the educational activities,
and of the extracurricular ones, mirrored eventually in the results
each pupil will achieve. One main concern has to be on the
academic education, which has started with initial evaluations at the
level of each class and each subject. These evaluations are the basis
of the next activities and offers each teacher the possibility to
adopt an education focused on every pupil.
We don't neglect
the extracurricular activities either, which give the opportunity to
every individual to develop its skills, to value its creativity to
express through different forms of art and to activate in different
groups that the one he is already part of. Thus, in our school we have
the following extracurricular activities:
- arts,
coordinated by Irina Comsa
- choir,
coordinated by Claudia Sturz
- drama,
coordinated by Lenuta Mihuta, Anca Bote and Maria Hoca
- traditional dancing,
coordinated by Clara Ungureanu
Even if the schedule of the school is very busy, we did set apart a
time for each pupil to discover the world of
computer science,
under the guidance of the teacher assistant Felix Dalacsi.
Between 13-17 of
October our pupils have continued the
tennis classes
that begun in June, under the guidance of the tennis coach John Noakes.
We must admit that all pupils are doing better and better each time
and that they are attracted by this sport. Having a new sport teacher,
Lily Bideran, who was trained to teach tennis, helps children to
develop their tennis skills.
Our desire is to have a clean and tidy school, so we have initiated
the contest ‘The
model class’.
Each day, a ‘jury’ formed by pupils from every class, selected by
teaching assistant Maria Hoca, inspect the classes and at the end of
the month the winner class would have the sign ‘The model class’.
We emphasis the
collaboration with parents, that's why we would have periodic meetings
with them. The first meeting took place on the 2nd October where we
discussed about the involvement of every parent in school life in
order to help the improvement of activities and results.
Teacher Irina Comsa, who is gifted in arts, had the opportunity to
work together with Jean Barclay and
made cards
that would be sold
to people, offering us a way of improving our budget.
As a result of the Educational Challenge 2007, a
group of pupils
with their teachers have visited us this month and were part of our
activities, having the opportunity to make new friends. A special
Report in on the website.
Thank you for
your support of Tileagd Community School.
