Opportunity to serve as Smiles Regional Development Associate.
Following the
announcement in January of our Development Associate to England &
Wales
– Anna Quelch – stepping down, it was explained to delegates
attending the Smiles Conference in Leeds on March 28th,
that a decision had been taken to replace the one position of a DA for
England & Wales, with 7 Regional DA’s.
So now the search is on. The regions established are as follows:
Area 1 –
North-East: Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham,
Cleveland,
North Yorks., West Yorks., Humberside
Area
2 -
North-West: Cumbria, Lancashire,
Gtr. Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire
Area 3 – North Midlands:
South Yorks, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire,
Leicestershire,
Staffordshire, Shropshire,
W. Midlands
Area 4 – Southern Counties:
Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire,
Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex
Area 5 – South-East: Gtr.
London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex (E.& W.), Hampshire, Berkshire
Area 6 – South West:
Warwickshire, Hereford & Worcester, Gloucestershire, Avon, Wiltshire,
Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall
Area 7 - Wales : (Preferably bi-lingual)
Suitable candidates have already applied for Regions 2, 4 and 5
We would ask any Smiles Ambassador who
has experience of the Organisation and has undertaken at least one
Mission Trip to Romania, to consider applying for the vacant regions.
