Already Autumn??
Yes!!
And only 4 months left in 2009??
Can’t believe it!
But August?? Ooooo, Was a great month.
As I told you in my last report, August is one of my favourite months
of the year!! And indeed it was!
The
first part of the month we had another container from Ireland
arriving in Cihei. Again lots of surprises! God really blessed us
with every single item that we receive in the Containers! I would
like to say a special THANK YOU to Barbara Morrison and all the
people from Ballymoney area that helped Barbara to put the container
together. Thank you also to Susie for the great gifts that she sent
us for the Princess Club! We do appreciate a lot and we really love
it!! We look posh in it! May God bless you all!
Soon after the
container arrived, I had another party! :)
My birthday!! It was a
great day even if I got older with one year! I received some very
nice gifts and something that I dreamed of for a while..... the
entire collection from the comedy series FRIENDS!! So, if you want
to relax and watch it, give me a call and I will rent to you any
episode you want to see!...of course, all the money will go to the
Princess Club!

Another event
that we had great fun from was the visit from the Flying Seagull
team!! 5 days of party and lots of Smiley Faces that helped children
and adults to forget about their “problems” and remember how is to be
happy...even if it is just for a few hours! Ash Perrin and his team
did a great job. The first day in Smiles we went to Cighid
and worked
with the disabled residents from the hospital there. Then other Smiles
projects like Tileagd, Gepiu, Salard, Sergis, Varciorog, and finaly
Oradea’s Children Park made more people
happy. The press was very impressed by the work that was done, and for
the entire week we had all sorts of news reports in the press about
Smiles, the Flying Seagull’s and the work we do! If you want to see
more pictures from it see below!!! |
Then, two days after they left,
the last mission trip for this summer left too... suddenly it was very
quiet, but not for long!!!!!! We had to get ready for another tour in
UK...this time to Scotland and England! But before we got there we had
two ‘very special’ days holiday!!! And where do you think we went for
that??? In PARIS- FRANCE!! The first day we visited Paris. We went up
Eifel Tower and even if we were a bit scared we got to the top of it
eventually ! The view there is AMAZING...for hours I was amazed of
God’s power that was given to people to put something like this
together. While other members of the team rested, Florica G, Roxi
and
me went for a cruise on the River Seine.... WOW...soooooo romantic! We
saw so many things that we’ve learned in school and things that I
never imagine I would see with my own eyes!
The second day of our holiday we went to DISNEYLAND Paris!! I think I
was more excited than the kids...But once we got in “Mickey’s world”
we all had great fun!! Parades, rides, shows, all sorts of attraction
kept us very very busy for more than 10 hours! We did feel sorry for
Mr Hoy because he had to run after us and keep up with us, but God
gave him lots of patience and at the end of the day we were all were
happy! So, my dear friends from America, don’t worry we still want to
do the Florida resort next year !

After
our holiday finished, we travelled to England. The first stop was in
Gorsley and we had the privilege to be guest at the “Gorsley
Flower Festival”. For me, this was a particularly great
experience because for the last 5 years I’ve dreamed to be able to
get and see the flower display. I’m passionate about flower
arrangements and for the people that know me better, also knows my
hobby on interior/exterior/ flowers design. The theme from this year
was Jesus on Life and lots of bible verses in combination
with the flowers made an absolutely amazing display! Yet again, God
blessed people with creativity. The Choir had a few songs and we
were honoured to have Nia singing with us!! Was great to see her
and the two little boys Josh and Rhys...In 2007 when we had the tour
with Nia and the Tileagd Choir we had Josh travelling with us,
we are
waiting for Rhys to grow a bit in order to plan the next tour with
Nia !

So,
where are we now?? In Scotland visiting schools and churches! We
have a great time, even if outside is pouring with rain since we got
here! Ann Cowan and her family and friends are taking good care of
us as always! Marinela ,
one of the girls from the
choir had her 14th birthday while we were here and she had a
fantastic cake.....Disney Princess all over made Marinela feel so
special......and she is a special girl! This was first time in
her life that she had a proper birthday cake, received gifts and
people sang happy birthday to her!!! You could read happiness all
over her face!! So, do
you agree with me August was a special month??!! Lots of parties and
lots of my friends celebrate their birthdays in August.
For all of them that are reading this page I would like to say yet
again HAPPY BIRTHDAY and may God bless you all and keep you
in His loving arms all your life!!............. And for my other
friends, for each of you, I pray that you surrender your life to
Him, the one and the only one that gives us eternal life!

I leave you with a song that is one of my favourite, and this month
while I’ve had fun I had some disappointments as well. I received
news that one member of my family is suspected of cancer! Moments
like this, reminds us how important is to be GOD’s child and have
your life in His arms.....Please pray for my cousin, and more than
anything, pray for him to know God above all circumstances that he
goes through!

So, sing along with me this song as a prayer for you and me during the month of September.
All to Jesus, I surrender;
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
I surrender all, I surrender all,
All to Thee, my blessèd Saviour,
I surrender all.
All to Jesus I surrender;
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
All to Jesus, I surrender;
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.
All to Jesus, I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power;
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
All to Jesus I surrender;
Now I feel the sacred flame.
O the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name!
Be blessed my friend,
Maria Cimpoca
