August 5th 2005 was our Ground Breaking Ceremony.
September 15th 2006
Phase One complete for School & Kindergarten to open.
June 1st 2007
Phase Two Construction Begins
The entire Complex
was to be built in three Phases, but
we have now condensed that to just TWO phases:
Phase One:
The Community School (Grades 1-4) and the
Pre-school
(Ages 5-7)
This phase included the necessary offices for staff, Kitchen and Dining
room for the School and Shower Block for the Hygiene programme to
continue as with first school and nursery facility.
Phase Two:
The urgently needed Medical Block with
facilities for Doctor, Dentist and Optometrist - including offices,
pharmacy, waiting room, consulting rooms and workshop. Originally
planned for Phase 3, Phase two is now to include the Gymnasium and
Community Church.
Report:
Our
prayer was to see Phase One ready for the School and Nursery to open in
September 2006. This was to be a big challenge, with a
£447,000 / $894,000
price tag!
In faith – we moved forward. Praying hard for the Lord to provide.
HE
DID! Now we pray for similar provision for Phase Two, needing
£260,000/$520,000 to complete the project and meet our ‘Grand Opening’
date of June 8th
2008.
