During the course of each year, a combination of Vans and Containers
are prepared full of important and much needed supplies for
transporting to Romania.
Sometimes, the transport will be organised locally to where supplies
or a Container is located. At other times, supplies will need to be
delivered to the Leeds HQ (by prior arrangement) packed and labelled
as instructed by the Leeds office, for storage and subsequent loading
for transporting to Romania.
Whether locally or through Leeds HQ – be sure to keep in touch with us
of your plans and intentions as well as ensuring nothing is collected,
loaded or transported to Romania that is not on the list or fully
known about and approved by Leeds HQ.

Medical Wish-list
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Smiles
supporters, we now have significant stores of many drugs for which we
are very grateful. We don’t want to accumulate drugs that we won’t use
and have to pay to dispose of and so we ask if any donations could be
from the following list only:
o
Paracetamol sachets for children---both lower and
higher strength;
o
Piperazine---as sachets—treatment for worms;
o
Ibuprofen or Diclofenac gel;
o
Multivitamins for children—as sachets or effervescent
tablets;
o
Doxycycline tablets—100mg;
o
Amoxicillin paediatric suspension---as dry powder;
We ask
for sachets where possible because they are easier to store and to
distribute
to different families. Drugs with an expiry date well into the future
are always appreciated.
Please do not send any drugs by post, but either bring
them out with you on a Mission Trip or contact Dawn in the Leeds
office who can advise of options for delivery to Romania.
