UK Development Ambassadors – Key to Fundraising & Development

The Smiles Foundation would not exist without our TEAM of volunteers throughout the UK & USA. People who give of their time, talents and resources to enable the maximum to be achieved from a TEAM effort. People who share a similar passion and come together with all sorts of gifts and abilities for the good of others.

Barbara Morrison
1962 - 2018

As many of you will know, our dear friend Barbara Morrison who was Smiles Development Ambassador & Volunteer Co-ordinator, moved into the presence of her Saviour on July 12th, after suffering a bleed to the brain on June 25th. Many of us will attend Barbara’s Thanksgiving Service on Monday, July 16th and we ask that you continue to uphold in prayer her husband Sam, and the wider family.

The Smiles Family is now one less and, as Maria said in her recent message, ‘it is hard to imagine life or Smiles without her’ but we thank God for the amazing legacy of achievement that Barbara leaves, for what she meant to so many and look forward to continuing the work in Romania which Barbara so passionately loved and supported.

We thank you for your prayers and support at this time.

“We wait in hope for the Lord, he is our help and shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.” Psalm 33:20-22
