I returned to the United Kingdom late last night having been delayed in Budapest a few hours due to technical problems with the plane. Ended up unable to be fixed, so the airline had to send a replacement plane to get us all home! No great disaster, as all the important work in Romania had been done. I had some urgent issues to deal with back in the Leeds office, but once I knew I’d be home sometime Sunday night, I wasn’t too concerned.
We had a fantastic couple of weeks of Mission Trips, very busy but very productive. Mission Teams and all the Smiles Staff worked very hard to get hundreds of gifts delivered to Families and Children along with the 48 residents at JFL & ECO – our Elderly care Homes in Romania.
Thanks to so many who supported these programs of distribution to those less fortunate than ourselves. Everyone
had a really wonderful time and the beneficiaries appreciated your love and support so very much. Thank you.
As we draw to the close of 2014, I also want to thank you for your tremendous support of the Smiles Foundation throughout this past year. It has been a great year in so many ways, with income and support at the highest level for 6 years – which is fantastic and we Thank God for His Blessings and Provision.
